We're in the process of obtaining our EV certificate. The installer is safe — you can verify the SHA-256 hash on our GitHub releases page.

Click the download button above. Your browser saves Solus-Setup.exe to your Downloads folder.
Double-click Solus-Setup.exe. If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, click "More info" → "Run anyway." Installation takes under a minute.
Open Solus from the Start menu. Sign in with your school email or create a free account. That's it — start writing.
Solus checks for updates automatically on startup. If an update is available, you'll see a prompt in the top bar. Click "Install update" and Solus will restart with the new version — no reinstall needed.
To check your current version: go to Help → About Solus in the menu bar.
